Participation Reading Circle
Six Tuesday evenings with the same small group, each week spent on one participation question rather than a new indicator.
£620 for six evenings · Six consecutive Tuesday evenings, 18:30–20:30
Who it is for
Workshop graduates who need a slower cadence, and local readers who can commit to six Tuesdays. The circle is not a substitute for the two-day workshop if you have never marked volume by hand.
What you should leave able to do
By week six you should be keeping a weekly participation note that a stranger in the room could follow: effort, result, and whether the crowd stayed with the move after the first hour.
Scope
One theme each week — stopping volume, no-demand tests, absorption near a prior high, the quiet break, relative volume on the London open, and the Friday inventory question. We stay with UK cash and one future. No crypto tapes.
Where and how
Grey Street when the group is six or fewer; Framlingham when we need a larger table.
Helen Ward leads; Marcus Bell covers one evening if a workshop overlaps.
Included
- A shared weekly print posted on Friday
- Tea and a marked copy of that week’s page
- A short written recap after each evening
Not included
- Catch-up recordings
- One-to-one time inside the two hours
How a booking proceeds
- We open a circle when six to eight people have asked for the same block of Tuesdays.
- Friday print arrives; Tuesday we mark it together.
- After week six the circle closes. A later block is a new registration, not an automatic continuation.
Preparation and limits
Mark the Friday print before you arrive. Unmarked pages slow the room.
Missed evenings are not refunded and cannot be swapped into a later circle without a new fee. Maximum eight.
Register interest on the contact form. We will write when the next Tuesday block is firm.
